David Lamb
Founder and CEO
Founder of Lifeline Capital Group, David Lamb is a legal industry maven with over 20 years of rich experience across various legal domains. A graduate with distinction from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, he is twice the recipient of the prestigious “American Jurisprudence Award.” He also holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Political Science from Chico State University.

David’s versatile career speaks volumes about his sheer expertise in different legal disciplines. He began his legal journey as a Research Attorney for two judges at the Los Angeles Superior Court, where he wrote tentative opinions for a handful of civil motions and pleadings.

His next stint was as an Instructor of Criminal Law & Procedure at the University of San Diego’s Paralegal Program. During his almost 15-year tenure in that role, he taught the fundamentals of criminal law and procedure to more than 1000 students and was consistently voted as the Top Instructor by his students. He was also a multiple recipient of the “Distinguished Instructor Award” for his utter dedication toward teaching and valuable contribution to legal education.

During that same time, he also served as a Senior Deputy Public Defender at the San Diego Public Defender’s Office for nearly twenty years. This is where he got true exposure to practical nuances of legal profession that eventually transformed him into a successful and established lawyer. During his tenure as a deputy public defender, Mr. Lamb handled some of the most complicated high profile cases including murder, rape, child molestation, child pornography, burglary, robbery and three strike offenses. He conducted more than 100 jury trials to verdict and over 35 juvenile adjudications as well as successfully defended several high-profile media cases. He was also the Head of Recruitment & Training for three years and supervised more than 200 attorneys, law clerks, support staff and interns while holding this position. For several years, he headed the firm’s writs and appeals division and argued multiple cases at the 4th District Court of Appeals.
